"This is our second year and our family really enjoys this event. It is well laid out and organized. We always go on a weeknight so it's not packed. There is a wide variety of food trucks so that everyone can get something to eat before. The bartenders are friendly and the drinks yummy. It's short enough that my toddler can walk it without the stroller. Everyone has a great time."

"First off, walking into Nights of the Jack, it reminded me of the Fall festival that I used to go to in my hometown as a kid, which made me super nostalgic! I went recently and it was pretty packed. They have a good entrance system where you buy the tickets in timeframes, so we only ended up waiting about five minutes to get them scanned. I didn't know what I was walking into with the actual trail itself because my friends invited me, but it's such a fun experience. I felt like a kid again, haha, especially when the snow came down! If you like seeing celebs, you will probably see some when you go if you pay attention! Just don't wear brand new sneakers because they will get dirty and remember it's in a state park. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a fun night out with friends or a date night. Including my admission ticket, I spent around $100 (food and 2 drinks) and it was definitely worth it for me because that's what I'd spend on a nice dinner out, and this was a great night out! But you may want to get dinner beforehand and just stick to drinks and dessert because of the lines at the food trucks so you'll have more time to enjoy the trail, bars and can take pics in all the different areas."

"We took our son to see Nights of the Jack for his sixth birthday, and we all had a fabulous time. The quality of the artwork that went into the displays, set to music and lights was astonishing. The pumpkin carvings were integrated into the brightly colored and lighted displays, which each had a theme: horror movies, Hollywood stars, sports stars, SpongeBob, African jungle, graveyard. The displays were set to music and made mostly of pumpkins that were attached together and carved into ornate objects, such as life-sized motorcycles. It's really hard to describe. You need to see the attached photos. There were at least eight food trucks at the beginning of the event where people could have dinner before beginning their journey and there were two bars along the path where you could stop, rest and get a drink. Suffice it to say that we had a blast, got some good exercise and I highly recommend Nights of the Jack."

"Great family fun! Parking is easy, we had an oversized vehicle they were able to accommodate. remember to purchase your parking pass prior. They asked us for is upon entering parking lot and then at the walking gate. Staff is super nice and a very chill relaxed event. The light “tour” is flat and wheelchair accessible. There is lots of food and other fun vendors. There is also alcohol if you feel so inclined. The pumpkin art is amazing amazing! Be prepared to take lots of photos."

"Great place to bring family, friends or even a date. Must purchase tickets online along with parking. I highly suggest you wear close toe shoes and NO HEELS, the ground can be a little rocky. Overall, me and my family really enjoyed walking through through trails and enjoying all the beautiful pumpkin 🎃 and lights."

"I went to Nights of the Jack for the first time in 2021 and just bought my tickets to go the first night of this year's event! It's only 25 minutes from LA, but you feel like you're transported to a totally different world once you walk in. There are a ton of photo ops, a pumpkin carving artist, and even a psychic! Loved the vegan options at the food trucks and the Halloween-themed cocktails at the "Spookeasy" bar. And the trail is a total blast - my friends and I ended up walking twice because we loved it so much! There are so many different "set-ups" throughout so you're constantly transported into different scenes. Don't miss the cupcake truck on your way out. Oh and if you're on a date night, ditch the heels! The trail has pavement, but the entrance/food truck area doesn't. One other thing - add your tickets to your Apple wallet before you arrive. Service can be spotty - the workers were super helpful but my friends and I felt bad holding up the line! Lastly, no real bathrooms (you're literally in a state park) but the port a potty I used was clean, so all good! Definitely recommend this for date nights, family activity, or a night out with friends. Awesome vibes all around! I will update my review with pics after I go next weekend!"

"Nights of the Jack is such a fun night for a spooky Halloween experience in Los Angeles! As soon as you walk in, there is a giant field full of food trucks, drink trucks, psychic readings, merchandise tables, giant bales of hay and pumpkins for photo ops! There are two full bars with themed Halloween cocktails and plenty of tables to sit and enjoy the food and drink. As you enter the actual exhibit, you are greeted by miraculous light show of jack o lanterns, skeletons, and spooky houses. My favorite part is the light up tunnel with music and changing light visuals. Overall, a great experience for all ages (not too scary) and the price point is great - you won't have to break the bank like you would for Disney Halloween or Halloween Horror Nights festivals."

"Hands down the best pumpkin display walk thru for the whole family. This place exceeded my expectations with all the pumpkins and lights put together so well. Some might think the entry is pricey but it is well worth it. Food trucks available and they sell alcohol. $12 light toys for your little one. Glad I bought one, kept my one year old occupied while I enjoyed the lights. Parking was $10 and restrooms available."
